The TOTO Group encourages its employees to participate in volunteer activities and donations.
The Group provides a variety of opportunities that make it easy for its employees to actively participate in volunteer activities with their families and business partners. In addition to the activities sponsored by organizations that receive grants from the TOTO Water Environment Fund and other environmental activities, such as community cleanups, each business site engages in a wide variety of community-based activities. Through these volunteer activities, we interact with local residents and further expand the scope of our activities. From fiscal 2024, we are encouraging employees to participate in donation in addition to volunteering. We are developing a corporate culture in which each employee feels a sense of ownership over various social issues through these activities and addresses them voluntarily.

・Volunteer activity leave program
We have launched a program that allows employees to take leave so that they can go out and do volunteer work. The program allows each employee to take a special paid leave for a maximum of five days per year or accumulate the maximum allotment of annual paid of 30 days that may only be used for designated purposes, such as volunteer activities.
・Matching Gift Program*, an Add-on to Employees’ Donation
When a major disaster strikes, the TOTO Group collects donations from its employees. As a matching gift*, TOTO contributes the same amount of these donations to provide more support for the victims.
* A matching gift program is a method for companies and organizations to collect donations and relief money for social contribution purposes and add a certain percentage to the amount collected to increase the total amount to be donated.
